Services for individuals and families affected and displaced by Caldor Fire:

FOOD

  • SCH Cooking Compromised Bags. These bags are all easy to open, non-perishable food that can be eaten with little or no preparation. Cooking Compromised bags are available in the Sierra Community House Offices: Incline Village, Kings Beach and Truckee.  Call 530-546-0952 or in an emergency call 800-736-1060.
  • SCH Weekly Food Distributions: For days and locations follow this link: existing distribution or  contact Hunger Relief to sign up for home delivery. [email protected]
  • Tahoe Food Hub Giving Boxes:  400 giving boxes for distribution on Friday. Boxes will have fresh fruits and veggies from local farms in the Sierra Foothills. The food requires little to no meal prep. Is mostly ready to eat fruit or veggies like sweet peppers and carrots for cutting up for dips and hummus or lettuce for salad. It will make great on-the-go meals or snacks for between meals. Here is the link to sign up for a box: https://forms.gle/qPEQYMSx9AqVF1Dk9
