Placer County hosts bi-annual events called Discover and Discuss: Projects and Programs Shaping the Future of North Lake Tahoe in both Tahoe City and Kings Beach.
These are open-house style events where county staff and community partners meet with the public to present and discuss impactful projects and programs in the region aimed at supporting a healthy and vibrant community. This is an opportunity for the public to learn more and provide feedback. Attendees can talk to regional experts about upcoming infrastructure projects, plans, regional services and more.
“This community workshop is really a great opportunity for community members to have quality time with our staff and partners to dive deeper into projects and programs and share their thoughts,” says Placer’s Deputy County Executive Officer Stephanie Holloway. “It’s a great way to dive deeper into important information for our community and really get residents involved—these events are always very interactive and prove fruitful for county staff, our partners and attendees.”
