At Sierra Community House, compassion is more than just a value—it’s the driving force behind everything we do. This February, as we celebrate kindness and generosity, we’re thrilled to recognize Katrina Midgley, who was recently promoted to Grants Manager!

Katrina first joined Sierra Community House two years ago, bringing her passion for community impact and nonprofit work. Before stepping into this role, she previously worked at Sierra Nevada College, where she gained a deep appreciation for the impact of giving back to the community. Katrina is an essential part of our organization, working daily to secure funding that supports our vital programs. But her commitment to service goes beyond her role—she also volunteers with our Hunger Relief Program, helping to distribute food to families in need.

On her free time, Katrina enjoys spending time with her family. Whether she’s behind the scenes writing grants or on the front lines serving the community, Katrina leads with compassion and a deep dedication to our mission. Her promotion is a testament to her hard work, heart, and unwavering commitment to creating a stronger, more compassionate community.

We are so grateful for Katrina’s hard work and compassionate heart. Please join us in congratulating Katrina on this well-deserved achievement! 💙✨
