Peak Impact Report 2022-2023

Dear Friends,

We are excited to present you with our Peak Impact Report! As we enter our 5th year as Sierra Community House, we are so grateful for our staff, board and volunteers who are committed to social impact with meaning and purpose. Without the support of our funders, donors and partners providing lifesaving/sustaining/strengthening services would not be possible.

Last year, we were awarded “Non-profit of the Year” by our community, launched a new Giving Society, began year one of a 3 – year strategic plan and our Promotora team was recognized by the Town of Truckee with an official Proclamation honoring their work.

Over the past year, we helped keep our community safer, healthier, and more connected by delivering 26,783 services to more than 5,000 community members.

This would not be possible without the community’s investment in our mission! One of our core values is connection; a value we embraced this year. We are actively participating in Tahoe Truckee Community Organizations Active in Disasters (COAD), addressing deficiencies in access and needs during disaster responses. Additionally, we are working with partners like the Town of Truckee to advance Diversity, Equity and Inclusion initiatives in our region.

We invite you to read on for a glimpse of the impact we have had on individuals and families throughout the community.

With Gratitude,
