Our community is stronger when we come together to support one another. Sierra Community House is grateful to collect essential non-perishable foods and household items to help families and individuals facing challenging times. Your donations make a real difference and help ensure everyone has access to nourishing food and basic supplies.
Food Drive Needs
We accept any unopened, unexpired non-perishable foods, but here are items we always need:
- Beans (dried or canned) – especially pinto and black beans
- Rice
- Pasta and sauce
- Cereals – healthier options preferred, including oatmeal
- Nut/seed butters
- Canned tuna, meat & poultry
- Canned fruits and vegetables
- Juice
- Nutritional supplements – like Ensure or Glucerna
- Healthy snacks – great for school kids!
Family Support Needs
Beyond food, many families in our community need basic essentials for daily life. If you’re able, please consider donating items like:
- Diapers are always a valuable contribution
- Hats, gloves, and socks – especially for the colder months
- Gift cards for local grocery stores, restaurants, and gas stations
- Toiletries – feminine hygiene products, soaps, shampoos, toothpaste, etc.
